Welcome to Hidden Hills –   I like to refer to this as a larger enclave of down-home country type feeling estates inside the big city and county of Los Angeles.  Rustic unimpressive gates welcome you to this actually very impressive community with lots of bling and world wide celebrity status.   Its peaceful and welcoming with its miles of horse trails and a more laidback feeling compared to other enclaves like Bel-Air and Beverly Hills.  It borders Ventura county and the Santa Monica Mountains on the western edge of the San Fernando Valley and has lots of surrounding open space for trail rides and hikes. Located next to the city of Calabasas, you can find all kinds of architecture here.  The community was originally developed in the 1950s on 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2) of rolling landscape and now home to almost 600 residences on several streets with traditional ranch-style homes, mediterranian villas, or the private modern over the top mega-estate compound all co-inside peacefully together.  Being adjacent a  nature reserve on the north side and greenbelt of the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, a park with miles of equestrianhiking, and mountain biking trails. This is an ideal location whose main entrance is just a block off the Ventura Freeway
